Jihad Made in Germany

Mainstream media wants you to believe that Turkey, Germany, and the European Union are locked in battle against Islamic Radicalism. And yet, at the same time, we see those same countries financing Jihad and inviting Muslims into their lands by the thousands. What is really going on?

It is 2016 and the cosmetic surgery capital of the world, Brazil, has a lot to worry about. Clocking in at 79th in the world for living standards, Brazil is numero uno in butt enhancements! This despite the fact that cosmetic surgeries are not covered by either government or private health plans. The most astounding thing about this little known fact is the economic backdrop against which it takes place. Brazil is the sick man of the BRICS (i.e., Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and although the nation is gearing up for the 2016 Olympics with Carnival-like glee, the grim reality is that it is facing economic disaster.

Don’t be fooled… stock market rally will only last until central banks run out of steam

During the last century, it took a full 25 years (non-inflation numbers) before the stock market recovered from the declines it endured following the 1929 stock market crash and subsequent Great Depression.  In fact, when the markets finally bottomed in July of 1932, a full 89% of equity value had been lost (transferred) out of the markets, and it would take until 1954 before the Dow achieved equilibrium to once again reach an all-time high.

Newsbud — a New Media Model?

That there's an urgent need for new media organizations to emerge from the ashes of the dying corporate 'mainstream media' should be evident to every thinking person by now -- regardless of where in the post-Western world they live. We wish Newsbud godspeed as they do what Rogue Money is in the process of doing -- assembling a team and raising capital for a critical multi-media platform shining the light of truth on the markets and the world in these dark times.

First Sunday of Great Lent in Russia

While it's Palm Sunday in western Roman Catholic and Protestant Christendom, in Russia the Great Lenten fast has just begun. While the percentage of the Russian population which keeps to the strict Lenten fast remains quite low, the number of those choosing to abstain from not only meat but also fish and dairy products and attend services over the 40 days has increased in recent years, culminating in the feast of feasts, Great and Holy Pascha

Eurasianist Ideologue Alexander Dugin Endorses The Donald (and Bernie Sanders) and Asks What’s Wrong with Europe?

While we don't agree with Dugin's Orwellian tendency to declare that Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia, we have to admit he makes several relevant points in his latest essays on the decay of classical liberalism into a creeping technocratic totalitarianism. Dugin also recently made a statement we agree with, that the American people are in many respects 'to the Left of Bernie Sanders and to the Right of Donald Trump'. That is, millions of Americans want to be 'taken care of' by a system even more socialistic than what Bernie is proposing, while millions of Americans think The Donald might be too soft in certain respects.

Laughing Putin Stars in Donald Trump’s First Attack Ad on Hillary Clinton

Perhaps this is why the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) now lists Donald J. Trump getting elected President of the United States in November as a 'global risk'. Pray tell what exact 'risk mitigation best practices' would The Economist's (aka 'the world's sleaziest magazine') super special subscriber service suggest to prepare its readers for this terrifying prospect?
